Munich 17.1.39 To the municipal welfare department Franziskaner Street Munich Re: request for aid for rent My request in this matter was rejected in October because I do not qualify. However, my circumstances force me to make yet another appeal for help to pay rent because I cannot manage with the support of my children. I have bad diabetes and have to spend about RM 12 monthly for Insulin injections without which I cannot live. Thus I am left with RM 38 of which RM 10 go for rent for a kitchen and one room and RM 8 for electricity, heating and gas. There is no way I can live with the remaining RM 20 a month. I could have assumed that after examining these facts, the Welfare Department would have granted me aid. After receiving the rejection I suddenly realised that it might be because I hadn't supplied proof that I am an Aryan. To this I declare: In spite of all my attempts, I am unable to furnish the documentation about my father and his family. My sons - Otto has been a party member for years ΓÇô were unable to get any results either at the Sippenamt (the authority for genealogical research) or at the consulates. I can only say that my mother's lineage is purely Aryan, whereas my father - who has been dead for 20 years - was presumed to be a Mischling (of mixed race). My parents' marriage produced three children. All were raised as Catholics from the day they were born. My only brother fell as a soldier on the battlefield of honour. Myself, I am now 59 years old. I protest my being called Jewish. My late husband's stock was purely Aryan. My sons have Aryan wives. I want to assure you that I would not make this request were I not driven to do so by a state of destitution. I ask you for a positive answer

Head of Department 6 I. According to the file and to Stoeger's testimony, Stoeger's father was a Jew. She is therefore a Mischling of the first degree and does not belong to the circle of people for whom the circular of 7.1.39 is valid. Stoeger did not supply any new facts, which would qualify her for aid. Her request is therefore rejected, since she does not qualify. 29 January 39 To the NSDAP Reich direction Munich 33 Arcis Street Stoeger Otto, born 24.8.1901 Munich Sternwart Street 7 While examining a request for welfare by the mother of the above mentioned person, we have discovered that Mrs. Stoeger's father was a Jew. In her correspondence with the welfare office, Mrs. Stoeger declared that her son Otto is a member of the party. I hereby notify you of this fact and request to be informed about the measures taken against him.
